We've rolled out some major updates to our resume builder that will make managing your resumes easier. This, in turn, will help you apply for more jobs faster and more effectively.
TL;DR? You’ll no longer have to sift through a grid of randomly organized resumes. Your dashboard now features a more compact list view, the option to sort resumes by name, creation, or last edit date, and a new cataloging feature—sections.
Here’s how it all works.
List View with Resume Previews
Our new list view gives you a more compact and structured way to manage your resumes. With resume previews readily available, you’ll be able to quickly glance at the content without needing to open each document.
Create and Organize Your Resumes in Sections
Sections are here. You can now group and catalog your resumes however you want. Whether you like to organize by stages of completion or types of jobs, sections provide a customizable and intuitive way to keep your resumes organized.
How you can use the sections feature
- Organize by stage of completion. For example, create sections like “Need to be tailored to job description,” “Resume score need improvement,” or “Sent.”
- Organize by job type. Create custom sections with resumes for different job applications, for instance, “Marketing roles,” “Freelance roles,” or “Academic applications.”
Create custom sections at the bottom of the list (or grid, the feature works with the previous view as well) and easily move resumes between sections.
Three Sorting Options
Sorting is simple now. You can sort your resumes in three ways:
- By name: find a resume by the file title.
- By creation date: spot the oldest or newest resumes quickly.
- By last edit date: see the resumes you've most recently updated.
These options work in the new list view and the classic grid view.
Flexible View Options
We understand that every user has preferences. Switch between the list view and the grid view as you like. Folders and sorting work seamlessly in both.
We aim to make your resume management straightforward and efficient so you can focus on building the perfect resume. Use these new features to keep organized and further streamline your job hunt.
